yes there is, people are impatient/lazy, and think its a lot harder than it really is...
if everyone did there own imports, there'd be no reason/ability to,

    supply and demand,

why would you give away what you went to the trouble to import,
    same as business really,

Well according to this thread it's pretty easy.
Don't know if you thought of this, but if people keep importing them and selling them in packaging still the AO's are going to catch on and limit them for everyone, including the people getting INTO the sport who will then be fucked. Big applause to all the greedy cunts making 1000% profit on their orders of 10 mags then yeah?

Is reselling imported parts against the rules? ITAR says you can't export it but I would have thought domestic sales would be fine.

International parcel, its the cheapest and you get a tracking ID anyway typically $11~$15USD on your $100USD box.

bugger, I have tried to select that and It always seems to send it by the more expensive $40-$50 USD option

As always these days its not what it costs but what people are willing or forced to pay. Also dont necessarily blame the retailer, if the NZ wholesalers I have come into contact with are any indication they charge the top penny and insist any retailer they sell to does the same, ie its a racket.

Personally I try and get ppl to ship such obviously over-priced things in.

    that's odd...

    this is what Brownells said,

"If the order meets the criteria of International First Class Mail, our shipping department will move the order to that method."

8><-------" Priority mail offers tracking and has delivery in two to three weeks. With priority if the package weight is less than four pounds and value less than $100.00 we can ship international first class, INTFC, however it does not have tracking"

Ah there we go. I often add other items to over the $100 mark. Should have read the fine print.
