All connect to a firearm, but is not a "functional" part essential for it to work.
Open sights were classified as a firearm part but now along with scopes, rails and mounts they are an accessory. No import permit required.

Like the guys have said, you get what you pay for. However, I did buy one of these as an experiment and noise suppression wise it worked well on a .22, as good as my .22 Hardy can. They come with an open end cap and a closed end cap that I had the machinist boys at work mill a hole in. One gripe I had with it was the thread wasn’t very tight and even if it came loose the smallest amount, there was a possibility it would droop and it potentially get clipped by a projectile. Wouldn’t risk any larger calibres though.

Think i seen these on aliexpress... they only had a hole in one end so needs to be drilled... but i guess as it's unusable in shipped form
it couldn't be classed as suppressor?
