    In theory

So my edge currently has a vx6 with 44mm objective

Looking to go to a 50mm sightron s3

Have 6 - 7mm of clearance from barrel

    Thinking 50 - 44 =6mm ÷2 =3mm lower 3mm higher so should have 3 - 4mm clearance.

    Am i correct?
Dont have time to test fit instore unfortunately

    Cheers
    Shane

Only thing that might cause grief possibly is if the sightron has a longer parallel objective section or needs to be set more rearward to achieve correct eye relief ....I dont have a sightron to look at but you should be golden.

If it's longer a canted rail will reduce clearance too as the scope is mounted at an angle to the barrel but once again won't make a huge difference.

Also check the actual outside diameter of the scope instead of just the lense diameter. Could vary between manufacturers. A quick check on the factory websites should give the info.
