Also released recently.
I had the xq23v for a time and ended up upgrading to the XQ28F Helion
The picture quality between the 2 in real life was huge, on paper they seem very similar but huge difference between them.
Have spotted animals beyond 1000m
It is very hard to tell distance at night especially under thermal but at 4-500m with the xq28f you can positivity identify animals
hope that helps
Life is the art of drawing without an eraser
I hope to try one of these at some stage. Interested to know if anybody here has.

Here's some more info about them.
Just brought the xp50 accolade lrf binos f**Ken awesome can pick up animals over 2k away without any trouble
Have the lto tracker.... image quality is worse tha the flir first mate thats 4-5years old... lto is a bloody small handy unit and turns on bloody quick. Battery life is good and it works well out to 100m. Like that the tracker has a screen so two people can use it at once (if your friendly and brushed your teeth recently)
Imagine the quest wepill be similar
The next model up is ok. Mine picks up animals over 600m
Summer grass
Of stalwart warriors splendid dreams
the aftermath.
Matsuo Basho.
Yes - the ultimate in Handheld @Padox
I had the LRF Accolade XQ38 - very comfortable to use - rage out to 800m - 1000m on occasion which I found extremely helpful due to fact judging distance with Thermal is very difficult even in country I know well
What range have you achieved with your XP50 ? (LRF I mean
Just out of interest, has anybody used their thermal gear to look for a missing person (SAR) or to find a smouldering hotspot before or after a fire?
I’ve used my FLIR Scout III to examine horse’s joints and hooves, it picks out stone bruises etc when comparing with the opposite limb. Also great for working out the order shits were taken in the paddock...
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.
