I have a Night tech hd-25 Cost was $1550 AUD it doesn"t have WIFI or Bluetooth which brings the cost down. It does have an integrated laser pointer which is handy for allowing the shooter with the torch to line up on the dot before hitting the light. Loving it so far, scan a paddock and don't have to worry about lighting it up if theres nothing there. Can id cows over 1km away and fallow deer at 500 yards easy foxes 300 yards and hares at 200.

I like this laser pointer idea. We came to a similar conclusion ourselves recently.

The sad part about all this great advice is we've moved from "a thermal or Night Vision or a Spotlight?" to suddenly " a thermal AND Night Vision AND a Spotlight".

You guys clearly like spending money...! Maybe I need to get a second job.

Spot light and $2 shop lazer pointer always worked for us.
the other time it was good was if someone went down to pick up downed possum or indeed get close to it and spotlighter stayed at vechile...that red beam goes a long way and its easy to see where it stops....

Nothing like spending $15k on electronics to shoot rabbits as a hobby haha.

If you use it wrong enough.
