I don't think I'm being scammed by talking to a bot
It's a marketing ploy. Either it was pushing the link in the signature, or may have even wanted to push a discussion on a particular rifle brand. Or both.
It's all about return on investment (RoI). The cost of getting a computer to go on a forum and generate some posts is extremely low. Lets say we charge 10 cents per post charge to the client. Getting a bot to post 1000 times across various forums around the world costs the client $10. If they influence a single rifle sale off the back of that then they have made money.
And it's all about generating discussion about a brand and influencing trends.
Weird
Holy shit, that makes so much sense, I hate it !
Make a lot of posts on Sabatti & get it out there, must say I thought it a strange Post & user name, the hint was she/it had two pistols already !
I used a Sabatti Rover in SA of my buddies & it was a very nice rifle, not my type of rifle but well made & very accurate, surprised me after all the Double rifle shit they went through !
This would be the sort of product description they are trying to harvest.

@mimms2 is correct. This shit is no joke and definitely should not be seen as such.
AI interaction is now scary common and most folks don't even realize it. Mostly just want your shopping data, or in this case probably data for a "working group" to see which rifle to target any market that responds.
In saying that, shall we all PM the OP suggesting some obscure ammo and see if a bunch of said ammo gets spammed on every page you visit.
Suggestions?
You're all too harsh. I've been in touch directly, and they just really need help moving one million dollars out of the country.

Ubique.
Once divided, always conquered.
Presumably it was written with a rudimentary set of responses for such situations, much like the Terminator 1 had a very short menu of verbal outputs to choose from. Do you guys remember it's preferred choice ?
I've seen equally articulate but slightly nonsensical prose from a student AI project trained on old english literature and a chinese dictionary. There are one or two forum members here who seem to often post divisive bites that generate unhappiness and argument. No doubt some of us are also contracted to do a bit of market research too. But they also put in lots of helpful stuff to build up empathy and reputation and they pass the Turing test so there will only ever be a finite number of them. Even a hundred new bots like Isabella each day could be a darned nuisance on the forum. Some NZ websites have been attacked with gigabits per second in the last week. So bots are potentially another thing altogether than human influencers and trolls. I hope our admin are onto it - not sure whether there's a technical defence against this dark art.
All it had to say was "your mum" and I'd have assumed it was legit.
