I have one currently in 222 with the fixed floorplate mag. Yes its heavy, no I wouldn't take it into the hills too far, but man can it shoot. The action is super slick.its not a rifle Im inclined to part with mainly because I love its build quality, older look and feel, lovely wood and excellent accuracy. YMMD.
