    Thread pitch

Looking at buying a rifle that is factory threaded 11/16 x 24

Is this the same/very close to 18x1 ?

Hard to find a suppressor threaded for 11/16 x 24 so wondering if I could just run a tap/die over whatever thread is larger and get them to line up as 18x1 is readily available
    270 is a harmonic divisor number[1]
270 is the fourth number that is divisible by its average integer divisor[2]
270 is a practical number, by the second definition
The sum of the coprime counts for the first 29 integers is 270
270 is a sparsely totient number, the largest integer with 72 as its totient
Given 6 elements, there are 270 square permutations[3]
    10! has 270 divisors
270 is the smallest positive integer that has divisors ending by digits 1, 2, …, 9.

18mm =23/32 so 1/32 larger......cant get my head around running a smaller tap thru the suppresor or a larger die over the barrel not sure it will work effectively think there will be some slop .......but then again someone here may have done this and succeeded

I've done some more research and the rifle is actually threaded 5/8-24 and has an adaptor to run 11/16-24 so that will make life easier. Should have read thoroughly!

For future reference, we do suppressors in 11/16-24
