For the most part, the suppressors are good. But it was not an employee that provided the service I experienced, but the boss so unless they have replaced him.....
I was not going to go into detail, but I had a Hardy's suppressor that when used, would leave a coating of soot on the outside of the barrel. I contacted him to see what could be done to stop this and because the suppressor / rifle was second hand I explained I did not expect it to be covered by warranty. His reply was "our suppressors dont do that, it must be the rifle. Well I checked and there are no holes to cause that leak in my barrel!!!!!! He was not even prepared to deal with the idea it may by faulty. Service like that does not deserve a customer to return when there are many viable alternatives out there.
(Afterwards we found the swarf from threading had not been cleared from where the barrel sleeve is threaded to the internals at the muzzle end and was not sealed because of this so it was an error in manufacture)
I still maintain the every business will make a mistake at some point. It is how that company deals with the mistakes that sets them apart from others. And he set is apart from all the others that provide any sort of service or customer satisfaction.
Every time I think about going to Hardy, one of these threads pop up.
It's a bit of a shame really as his products clearly work well but I'm put off by the CS.
If they did these threads wouldn't pop up so often & his CS wouldn't be required as often.....
You will find most people are far too polite to post their experiences on this type of thread.
I am reluctant, but he has cost me so many dollars over "faulty" products that I am equally reluctant to not speak out, especially when I'm at fault not his perfect products.....
What makes it worse is I have a few clients in Aussie who have the same or worse experiences as myself & others I know of
Contact me for reloading components, brass, projectiles, powder, primers, etc

Its the old adage, make one customer happy and they will tell their friends, piss one customer off and they will tell everybody.....
I went in to see a gunsmith about getting my rifle re threaded and up grading from my gunworks. He see's alot of suppressors and has seen things go wrong with ALL brands.
gunworks well made but heavy and long. old technology
dpt light but they do out quicker (will only sell with s/s baffle) also design want change.
hardys always looking for new products to improve his products.

I generally run MAE's but recently got an A-Tec and found it to be superb on my 6.5x.284, use it on the .243 and am now getting another for my .22-243.
Lightweight, excellent noise reduction and lesser recoil, certainly worth a look at, Try Stager Sport in Alexander...
