Iv actually seen it just one was also left handed haha my brothers left hand t3x .308 since sold shot ok but not tikka benchmark that’s for sure didn’t like any of the recipes we threw at it had multiple competent losers give it a go but even so it was sub 2” he sold it honestly and the bush hobbit was over the moon with it. Even threw in three crayfish if I remember correctly

Yeah I had a look and couldn't find it either. Coming from Delta mike, found a video from gun city about it. Fluted barrel, larger bolt handle, metal bolt shroud, factory threaded.

Being a south paw limits things a bit....
could you not get another rear section and swap baffles??? pretty sure the good folks at DPT would see you sorted quick smartly...

I bought my Tikka T3 not long after the rifle came on the market and in those days they actually came with optilocks in the box ....
Couldn't believe it when I saw them laying there in the box.
It wasn't too long after that they suddenly disappeared and you got the rifle only and no optilocks.

As far as I'm aware. They never came with Optilocks. The T3 came with cheap alloy rings for free. They stopped that with the T3X.

Must be almost 10yrs since I brought my last Tikka, that came with rings (pretty sure they are cheap lightweight ones) been on the 308 since I got it and haven't had any problems until a few months ago. Wondered why I was missing a few shots and put it down to me until I have it a good clean, 1 ring had moved almost an inch putting a lovely groove down the side of my Zeiss conquest

Tikkas have never come with optilocks. Until 3 years ago they came with a light weight alloy option which the stores normally took off and up sold the user into something better/steel/rail systems etc. it meant there were hundreds Of these rings sitting in boxes under benches. In the end, they were removed.

Tikka rifle's come with nothing now only some shit swivels. Don't even come with the alley key to take your gun out of the stock.

As for changing the base on your dpt to get a different thread its not worth it.(about $280 for the magnum one) Better buying another suppressor
