Pretty sure you wouldn't invest millions into producing and selling these things if they were going to de-laminate etc etc...
I've decided to find out for myself.

Has it de-laminated in the 10 years you have been shooting it?
There is a lot of nay saying about the carbon barrels but if they are still being sold and used in competition then they will be fine.
There are different types of carbon fibres and each have different thermal properties.
It would be interesting to see how long it is going to take to sale. Which h+f store was it?
Saw one in HnF Napier today. Nice stock but not my cup of tea.
The barrel looks to have very little clearance between it and the forend of the stock.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
Really cool.
But wow.... I mean, the Stock Tikka shoots nice anyhow.... but if I had unlimited cash.... I would probably still not get one..hahahaaa
They're 'avin a laugh at that price.
Basic gun maybe 1600, stock 1300, can 500 so the other minor embellishments are $1100.
Line up suckers..
Sell a payment not a price. That's the first rule of selling consumer goods.
Because they have loaded the price by $1000 they can offer "interest free" and someone will lap up the "it's only $35 a week interest free for 3 years" and buy it.
