Secondly in terms of rifle ability you don't get much more out of a Blaser than you do a Tikka, they're both accurate, both well made, both easy to use.
Sure Blasers are 'nicer' but are they multiple $1000 'nicer'!.... after handling one at the Sika Show i don't think so

Besides to a new hunter a Blaser is WAAAAYYYYY out of thier price range... Tikkas aren't.

    Three comments.

Firstly, T3's are not nicely made. They are nasty production rifles.

Secondly, I am sure there are plenty of new hunters out there with enough disposable income (and good taste) that will consider a Blaser as a first firearm. Just cause you can't afford one does not mean they are out of reach for everybody.

And thirdly tikka's are poo's as a motherfucker!!!

'Nasty' was the key word there Happy.

Not debating the fact that most Blasers come off a production line. I will however add there are production lines with decent levels of quality, and correspondingly cost, and then there are production lines with "other" levels of quality.

Yeah na Nasty production line ? Sorry disagree with that. I d say they are suitable for purpose unlike most of the crap imported here from some places. Do we start a poll asking how many folks have had catastrophic pre mature failures or lack of accuracy or jam ups or FTf or what ever. It's a popular bit of kit. Don't worry I Ve owned a few them None have been sold cos they fail or are inaccurate or Give problems. Folks could do worse that's for sure. In fact with a little tickling my current tikka poo mobile out shoots both Sakos all the time . I might have got lucky !Based on that I reckon the control standards and checks are ok

Personally own a blaser or a tikka I don't care !! BUT how much poos does a mother fucker hold anyway !

Tikka's are ok as a budget rifle as they were intended, they shoot well with a bit of tinkering! They are however overrated by some ( me being one of the some) but still a good enough rifle! The Howa, in my opinion does a far better job for approx.60% of the price of a Tikka, they don't have as much plastic as the Tikka and the fucking bolts don't fall out!!! The Howa being based on the older Sako L579 action, are in the same class as a Sako which of course is the parent company of the Tikka. The Savage is also a good budget rifle that fire bullets where they are aimed and cost approx. 50% of a Tikka and their bolts don't fall out either. The plastic stocks on all 3 examples are good enough, though the Howa seems to be superior to the other 2. I have compared all these rifles together as I own all 3 of them and rate the Howa as the best of the 3.... I have 2 Tikka's 4 Howa's and 1 Savage. One of my Tikka's is .270 which has accounted for more deer than Toby has seen. Anyway that should be enough for some Tikka owners to half read what I have written and and draw the wrong conclusions and get on here and dribble shit about how their Tikka compares to.... and out shoots..... and looks better than... and haven't lost their bolt... and ... and... and

Im sorry but what planet do you live on exactly!!!

How many 'new' hunters will consider spending $5000+ on their 1st rifle!

When i started i had a budget of $1500 to purchase EVERYTHING.

Sure the rifle took up a large portion of that budget but for a new hunter there are far more important things to buy 1st

Just because that's your reality does not mean it is everyone else's reality. Which is my point.

This is a subjective thread, that was started as a joke if you don't remember. There will be those that like T3's, nasty as they are, and those that don't.

You happen to fall into one camp and I the other. Doesn't mean either of us is correct, just that we have differing opinions.

I can't believe that so many people are getting their knickers in a twist because I happen to think that T3's are absolute junk.

    Bitches......

    Warning - Warning - Warning

This has the potential to turn into a " GOATFUCK "

Just thought as a Manly Blaser owner I should point this out to all the T3 owners because as we know their perceptive powers are diminished , and I don't want them being made fun of anymore , it's not funny OK . We should all stand as one United group and not pick on the weak and dysfunctional .
We should all be just one big happy family .

    Ken

PS - Obviously it goes without saying that Perazzi shotgun shooters aren't included in our clan .
Just thought I'd better clarify that point .
