My son and I both have [almost] matching Husky 308's, 20" barrels, both made about 1961. Mine would be lucky to have fired 100 rounds in all those years, and from the look of his rifle, it would be lucky to have fired more than 2 or 300. Worked up a load for mine with 165SGK's, shoots mint. Tried the same load in his and it consistently shoots 70fps faster. And it shoots 3 different loads in to the same poi, all under 1moa. I think its all to do with age, hes younger than me so can go faster, and hes got better eyes! Is your mate with the AR younger than you? cos thats probably what it is
