Nice I no another guy was testing an up and coming carbon stock the finish still had some to be desired but it was very light I can’t see your one well enough to tell if they might be the same . Must be pretty light though be good to have a light weight option for the tikkas then their will be an advantage over the kimber hunter for a super light weight set up advantage being the bigger barrel yet super light

Tikka T3 is lightning in a bottle, basically a 'sporting/hunting' version of the TRG22.

KRG has a good writeup on the pro's/con's of the Tikka T3, although the T3x solved the ejection port issue, I feel the overall quality of the action and trigger are starting to drop.

Reason the Tikka is so light, look inside the action with the stock removed, it's basically an octagonal steel tube with plastic fittings (bolt stop, stock, magazine).

Bolt is very heavy duty (good), action dimensions also very consistent.

Probably the best factory rifle you can buy off the shelf although second hand ones are a much better deal than new IMHO, takes a lot to wear out a cold hammer forged barrel (except for idiots leaving moderators on... )
