    stolen from rimfirecentral......
Open the bolt and take it out of the action.
Grab the Bolt with your left hand by the Bolt head.
Turn the Bolt stem down, like you'll do to close the bolt.
Take Bolt apart by pulling on both peaces. No hammer needed.
    might help?

It should be covered in a t34 manual

Knock out the pin in front of safety stop lug. About 1mm pin just visible on left in photo behind bolt handle section. Unscrew rear from front.
Another pin seen where the bolt handle was. Caution under tension. See how you go. Can be a bit of an arse reassembling.

I’ve just acquired a ‘proper’ bolt for my later model Toz17 so the above advice will be handy.

I thought that was the only tool needed of you owned a toz... And if it didn't work you need a bigger hammer or hit it harder

Worked for me - but accidentally!
I was cleaning the bolt and twisted the body while holding the handle, nek minnit I had the bolt in two pieces!

    All back together now.

BTW: For those not in the know? There’s two bolt styles for the Toz, the early ones had quite a long body with a striker knob on the back of it that is also the safety.
The later rifles have the safety as part of the action (as per ‘normal’ bolt actions) and a much shorter bolt without a striker knob.
