Thread: Transport backpack-Masterton to Christchurch

Just wondered if anyone is going between Masterton and Christchurch. I have a backpack that needs to come down south. Its a 90 litre weighs apx 3kg. Can pay for any check in amount if flying or chip in for costs. TIA.

Last one I did, I crunched up tight with string and wrapped in that white plastic. Cost something like $22 via NZ post, arrived in two days? Not that big a parcel after that, equivalent size to the older macpac cascade size packs.

As a matter of interest how long ago was that? The charge is now m3 or weight if a smaller size, then it’s the greater of those. I’ve been quoted $95 with pack compacted .
