I guess thats what you call "packin".

Since I last reported I got a stock for my 243 Mauser, but I don't like the result (no fault of the vendor of the stock, its exactly as described) but the whole thing is too heavy and clunky.

So I've got a new plan, the "voice of reason" ( @kiwihunter ) doesn't agree but I think a 6mm/204 built on the shot out Howa 223 I have would be pretty hard to beat if I can find a reasonably priced barrel. I'm going to start a new thread to canvas ideas for a possible build.

I don't need to, its already been done a million times and is called a 6mm PPC, and by coincience, is identical in case capacity to the 6mm/204. However its base diameter is different so it (6x39) won't fit my Howa action
