I recently bought a 200L LRF which is their basic model. Very happy with it so far. It does indeed hit soft targets out to 1200m (haven't tested further except on trees, furthest there being 1675m so far in bright sunlight).
Having a limited budget atm (and probably the next 12 months), I read the hype and gave it a whirl. I have seen them at shoots so I'm keen to know if the performance drops off on a lower battery. Are they hardy enough in the field? Has anyone had any issues so far?
Wish it had more than a 4x scope but that's not the end of the world. It has a continuous ranging mode, an inclinometer and a box reticle so no chunky cross hair can obscure the target. Takes a bipod too.
They retail here in NZ for $750 plus gst from surveying sites
