Reading between the lines I think they may have been delayed due to trouble with the range finder. They seem to have it well sorted now tho.

I just discovered what appears to me to be a serious problem with these, unless I'm doing something wrong ?
I have just loaded the Micro SD card & tried it out.
The ballistic solution given in the Binos is either full moa or 1/3, 1/4 moa as clicks, on the computer is comes up as normal before it is loaded onto the card
How bloody embarrassing for Leica, with all the ballistic programs I have used, the dial up is expressed in moa ie 14.7 not 59 clicks
FFS trying to do the maths in the field, seriously....
They use the G7 solution, that's available in normal moa value ????
Did they not ask anyone that actually uses this stuff ?
Going to have to seriously brush up on my 4 times tables & division....
Absolutely unbelievable.......I feel a phone call coming tomorrow.
Hopefully there will be a software update available that can be put into the binos via the card to sort this frankly crazy situation, too wait all this time to have this happen.
Can't fault their ranging abilities, shame the glass isn't as good as Swaros in low light.
Extremely disappointed with the ballistic program..........

Have you RTFM ?
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
LOL yes VC I have "read the fucking manual" several times even, & it has been mentioned on other forums....
The confusing bit is the computer shows the values properly before you stick the data on the card....

Don't NXS scopes dial systems work off a MOA turret? Be handy for them if so!

Thought about changing the turrets to your ballistic curve and then simply dialing in the range? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=igmIslhusgs

KG, did you test the HD-Bs maximum range in meters? I had mine out for the first time last night and got a reading of 2067m. I haven't validated that measurement but a quick check on the map would support it. I thought they were gated to around 1825m.
I use mine in metres and have had readings in excess of 2km. I also have a small hedge that happens to be exactly 2,000m from my deck that I can get consistent readings on, so ranges in excess of 2km should be the norm I would say? Talking to Lacklands yesterday, said they had delivered 25 pairs this month, so there are a few starting to get out there...
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more
Thanks TC, I thought maybe mine were "faulty", in a good way.
How have you guys found them to range in bright light on non-reflective targets ?
Apparently they are worse than the 1600B.......
Certainly not my experience & can get beyond 15-1700 on normal objects relatively easily
Easily out to 2068-70 yards were they stop, in favourable conditions.
