Thread: Unusual ammo you've come across

Using the 22 shot brass case , was more image/hype than a good logical choice ( also the vel was a bit lower than it could have been & been still subsonic ) , they should have used a std 22 lr case , and in reguards bullet weight stayed to 48gr ( which would have stabilised in normal rimfire twists , would have been awesome .

They were called accelerators here. I still have a bunch somewhere. These look like they have an ap 5.56 projectile. You can shoot them out of any .30 cal. Apparently you can get stupid velocities out of .300 win mag. Must give them another go. PS don't shoot through a suppressor.
