I guess you might want to save the trouble to export from US especially for scope, not sure about binoculars. Unless the retailer can help you on the ITAR.

From what I know normally business charge 200USD for the first item, not sure if additional item would be less. And you need a import permit for it come into NZ I believe.

    What are you looking for?

They were good. Last time I tried them they came back with " the manufacturer has asked us to stop exporting to ...... to protect their local agent" type shit.
I was after a brand stocked by a chain so go figure.

Most scopes are non ITAR restricted but a lot of retailers won't/can't ship products here due to commercial agreements.

Scopes haven't needed import permits in the past but hwrd to know with the current caos in this country.

There are quite a few retailers who do ship to NZ, its just a matter of looking on their website or ask just them.
I don't list them on this forum as NZ retailers in the past have gotten upset they are missing their cut and have gotten restrictions put on from the US end, Leupold are well known for having done this.

Really? Every time I look up on optics planet for scope, red dot etc. They all have this ITAR warning below the description, e.g. this S&B PM2
"By adding to cart, I understand, acknowledge, and agree to the Export Policy. I am a U.S. Person, and I do not intend to export this product."

Cause from my understanding, pretty much anything you can put on a firearm is classified as ITAR restricted. But you can find the same item from retailers in other countries, just higher price.

Optics planet is just a pain in the arse is all.
There are plenty that will ship, if you are in Canada it should be even easier.

I know. But certain product they have the lowest price or only they have it.
I was looking for Meprolight MX3-F, they sell it for 220USD when it's in special, but in here 600CAD+ is the cheapest I can find.

I end up buying stuff from Euro Optics, Aranchy Outdoors, Evike, Optics-trade and other retailers instead.

I would guess it might be only certain non critical parts or accessories.

From my experience, they check your IP, your billing address and ask you to answer a bunch of questions and fill a declaration form if the order has any ITAR item. These are all recent experience in the past few months.

Ironically, I got a large nanuk rifle case from them for half of the price than the one I ordered from Montreal.

You are in Canada. What you see is completely different from what we see.
