    It’s annoying that Oceania Defense 7.62 suppressor can't be attached to 5.56 brake.

    @eamars that's not what ODL told me?

    They said you cannot put a 556can on the 762 brake as the 762 brake is too long to fit in the 556 can for safety reasons, they they said the 556 brake can be used on a 762 can as although the brake is shorter the actual thread is the same. They did this so only a "safe" combination of the two will work.

    Have you heard otherwise?

    Size seems to matter more than the tightness of the hole.

    Oh that was just my speculation that on their website they only shows 7.62 brake recommended for 7.62 suppressor. I didn't think about the cross compatibility though. Hope you are right

    That makes a lot of sense that a small hole can can't fit on a big hole barrel. I wonder how often this has happened?

    Ive got a .30cal suppresor for .303 ,7.62x39 and .223-seems to go ok does job and fingers crossed no probs as yet .My 40+yrold toz 17 .22carries a paulus manders suppressor -fitted by the man himself in deep dark past .its quieter than my air rifle.manys the snarling jacko who met the big possum in the sky whilst gazing at that wee hole!!
