Can't see why not. As long as you have the carbine stock extended out.
Look at left hand charging Warwick Arms standing.

@dogmatix I asked because the Warwick has the charging handle set up like an ordinary semi auto (except on the opposite side), while the expanded view of the UTAS from the deltamike website makes it hard to understand exactly how it works, it looks like the charging handle is going to need to go back as far as it would with a conventional AR at initial loading, which would require breaking cheek weld. I'm probably missing something.

No you are on the right track.
I don’t have an AR anymore. So can’t check even with a normal charging handle.
You have some on P don’t you?

An ASRA shooter has the Warwick arms straight pull.
Very nice, but the NZ retail price from GUNSNZ is eye watering.

It also says you can fit a std charging lever for a more authentic look implying that it works with one and you Will be breaking cheek and shoulder to use that or maybe break your nose

problem solved by pulling stock in 2nd or third position, think no one shoots with stock fully closed.

Some AR-specific optics were designed with the nose-to-charging-handle technique in mind and would not work well with your eye too far back from the optic, some of the prism sights in particular. Either way now that I've noticed this detail I suspect it would bug me, the Warwick might be more appealing.

Good reason to not use an ACOG.
I shoot with my stock fully extended.

Mine is on the way to my local via the dealer network.
Hopefully have an initial unboxing report and range christening report coming soon.

Nice one man, yea I just popped in to local store to grab some fireworks today and they told me they received a call from DM to say my rifle is on the way. Should get it on Friday. Oosh.

You should be getting it sent to a licensed gun dealer. You put your details on the form, ie name, tel, email, FAL number etc.

But the c/o DELIVERY address is the dealer its getting sent to. And tick the 'dealer' box.

First impressions, everything seems very solid and we'll put together. At first the bolt was not engaging all the way so for the first cupla shots I has to use forward assist button. Seemed to have loosened it up, now functioning fine.
I ordered the 10/30 extended mag with it. The shop owner told me he had a few customers puzzled about that when he unboxed it to mount scope haha.
