Also, the LBW was not fully engineered and tested before release. Din Collings had to rectify a firing pin retention issue on a Voere LBW rifle within a year or so of its release on the NZ market. Not a good thing!
A good shot at close range beats a 'hit" at a longer range.

After looking into them further and finding more and more people having issues with the recycled actions I've decided to can the idea. Considering another make that does a 7x57 which are few and far between

    Mauser? Likely they’d have a 7x57?

Rossler Titan 6? They have a website configuration setup that's interesting to have a play with. I'm sure they used to sell in NZ for a lot less than the website RRP though.

Would a 7mm08 be an unacceptable compromise?

You'd expect so but they don't for some reason.

Yeah they're currently the leading contender. Just a little more expensive than I had planned on spending. Especially with a baby due in 3 weeks!

    Nice looking rifle the Rossler.
All the euro makes look good-sometimes similar but still good. Aint cheap though.
Don't like the shape of the front sights but.

.275 Rigby is the imperial designation of the 7x57
