Is that for your new ACR @Savage1? :-)
I'm loving my Strike Eagle, still early days yet but will post up some info @ some stage from my range sessions. Great little optic
Amazingly my first session with the Strike Eagle was last weekend. Perfect for what I want, no too heavy good magnification range and great optics. Optics not as good as the 2-7 Nikon it replaced but the 1x and illumination make up for that. 1x is so good I can play 1st person shooters in my garage (no rifle attached).
Almost forgot too mention that I dialed it in 5 shots, can just see bullet holes at 100m.
Fair call, I'm keen to shoot out to extended ranges see where the other reticle lines sit, so far my zero at 50m is bang on at 100 which is pretty sweet.
Haha that's because they've been selling them like hot cakes @ reloaders. I think gunsnz.com have some but not as good as reloaders on price if I recall
Mine line up with in a couple inches out to 600 on an 18" barrel and 62 grain bullet doing a bit over 3000fps.
I have to say I am struggling with the reticule a bit when shooting 3 gun. I waste a bit of time trying to be precise and ensure I have the perfect sight picture. Until I get used to it, I think I would have preferred a simple cross hair or post type. The half doughnut is distracting for me.
Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.
FYI these are available again at reloaders for $619. Just ordered myself one.
Anyone got one in or around Palmy i could have a look at?
I bought one and yet to try out on rifle yet, mmmm was looking at that donut and thinking the same... why can't they keep it simple with reticle and some small hash marks. Had a Burris AR-332 a while back, nice wee scopes but too busy in reticle again for me.
Big ups for Reloaders Supply for not profiteering out of the demand as well.
