    Question VX3HD

Hey all, anyone running the new VX3 HD?
    Thoughts or comments?
Considering the 3.5x40 CDS ZL Firedot, at $1300 is there other comparable scopes I should be looking at?
    Cheers....

I was also thinking about getting the same model. I compared it with a vx5 a couple of weeks ago and thought that the glass on the 2 were very similar.

for 1500-1600 you can get a VX5-3-15 Firedot. 2nd hand. Lifetime warranty, doesn't matter if the original owner or not and no receipt needed.
I cant comment on the glass quality between them.

    Both 30mm tube.
    Has the extra zoom.
    VX5 is 100grams heavier,
    has parallax adjustment
Has Two turns of the turrets giving 38moa adjustment(20 + 18) Vs VX3 only one turn and only 15 Moa.

What features are you wanting the most?
    Illuminated?
    Lightweight?
    Glass?

Zeiss 3-15HD is another good option but not illuminated. 25mm tube, i see them pop up from time to time as low as 1k 2nd hand.

Burris signature HD 2-10. 20moa per rotation, 1" tube, great reticle and only $899. I want to look at the vx3HD though as had an old vx3 2.5-8 years ago so wouldn't mind going back to that but in HD with CDS.
