Wanted Review on the zerotech trace sfp

Looking at these scopes as an affordable option for a couple of people I'm mentoring.
About the only average thing I have read is the reticle is a bit thin.
Any one out there using these to give me some real world info.
There is two models in sfp.
    The 3x18 and 4.5x27.
    Retail at approx $1200.
They have pretty good specs to be fair!
    Cheers

Well I have now watched a few reveiws and they don't really have any bad points to be fair.
They do every thing they should so looks like I'm going to run with them .
Nioa isn't the agent anymore so of to jp furley as are the importers now.
Will let ya know how they go.

I think you will find that Nioa lost the ZeroTech NZ Agent title due to their substandard customer service in regard to a Trace 4.5-27x50 R3 MOA I sent in for warranty.
Nioa customer service was very unprofessional and gave me the run-around, so I wrote to ZeroTech Australia (service@zerotech.com.au).

Here is most of my email to ZeroTech and Nioa after I received a replacement scope:

"ZeroTech has gone well beyond my expectations by offering a replacement scope. I would have been, and am still happy to have them drill out the stuck screws and replace the Zero Stop (if that was deemed necessary).

However, it is this sort of after-sales service that makes me purchase Chinese scopes which only come with a quality lifetime warranty (really only Athlon Optics and ZeroTech). I might pay a slight initial premium, however I get peace of mind.

This leads to my second (constructive point) ... the ZeroTech warranty is very clear and precise:

"Our Triple A Lifetime Warranty: 'ANY OWNER, ANY PROBLEM, ALWAYS COVERED'. BACKED FOR LIFE!"

    It's a great warranty.
And NIOA is the 'public face', the first contact the ZeroTech owner has in regards to this scope warranty.

Therefore, I respectfully suggest that NIOA customer service first responds to a ZeroTech warranty claim with 'positive regard'. Perhaps mention that the warranty is one of the best scope warranties available (it is as good as a Leupold scope warranty which is saying something!). Then state that you will send a standard email to inform ZeroTech and will get back to the owner as soon as you have a response (therefore all parties know what is happening).

I think if you make the face of the ZeroTech warranty a bit more welcoming, you will help sell more ZeroTech scopes via customer satisfaction/word of mouth, therefore benefitting your business in more ways than just sales."

ZeroTech is a great scope line with a great warranty and I can recommend the Trace 4.5-27x50.
It will definitely suit your friend's requirements @andyanimal31.
A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.
