Bad batch of stocks?
I've got one in 7 08. The stock is a heap of shit but it shoots so well I have put up with it. In fact the wavy grip pattern on the stock is downright rude! Did I mention it shoots ok?
Try and get a second hand T3 stock. I'm pretty sure the T3 and A7 are the same dimension action and bottom metal/plastic.
I'm trying to work out how this happened ?
Is this from shooting - loading up the bipod and then the recoil forces being transfered through the stud ?
Or is it from damage from an accident - dropping it etc ?
No matter what caused it , it's still a pain in the arse , good luck fixing it .

FALL IN LOVE WITH THE NUMBERS , NOT THE IDEA
Looks like there is no honeycomb type section behind it to reinforce it. Are those stocks just straight hollow?
If its hollow i would do as dogmatix said for repair then fill to just below the varrel channel with epoxy and a carbon shaft to stiffen it becausenif it is as hollow as it looks it must flex a heap
Mate shoots with 2 x A7s - one in .308 with a 16 inch barrel no supp, and one in a 7mm rem mag. Both with bipods, never had an issue. As above - bad batch? pretty shit of beretta not to replace it or at least help out in some way. Hunters use bipods, maybe they should put a warning on the box saying the stocks not suitable etc? I've never seen or heard of a stock "falling" apart like that before. wierd
thats a pitiful attempt at building a sako
Any consumer product needs to be fit for purpose, attaching a bipod is expected, if its breaks through no fault of how you attach it I would think the CGA applies.
having seen that I wont be buying a A7.
regards
I dont know if the US has a CGA...and thats a cwap excuse. I'd contact the shop and tell them you expect a free replacement, otherwise $35 gets you an appointment with a tribunal. You have the choice of going for the shop or the NZ distributor, if you are friendly with the shop go at the NZ distributor.
Iv never even heard of a sling stud that couldnt take a bipod before let alone on a sako
