I'm simply dubious about the utility of a sports coupé as a mobile cook facility

Faster getaway than a camper van? Although I guess you would want to wind the windows down in the skyline...

Now a thought, 'we' all have 'assumed' those rifles, barring the savage, m305 and Remington 788, were all MSSA's BUT airsoft 'toy's' all come in those nice plastic case's as well and look better then the 'real'.

Yeah but I haven't seen many airsoft weapons sporting A cat features like Spears stocks and 5 rd mags, it wouldn't really make a lot of sense to fit them out with such either, as they only serve to make them look a little less tacticool.

Someone reckoned the AK was a Yunker air rifle. It will be interesting to see where they came from if they tell us.

Ho there! Lots of nighties getting ripped and knees getting jerked here.

For the record, I obtained my first lifetime firearms licence in 1962. Since then I have owned variously semi autos in .22 rimfire centrefire and in shotgun as well as single shot, break open and bolt guns with and without magazines. Over my years of hunting I came to the conclusion that for me and for my respect of my quarry, , being wildfowl, small game, large game and at one period culling of various ungulates; that semi auto's were no longer a type of weapon I needed or wanted to use; hence, my comment, "it would not bother me if semi auto's were banned". It is simply because for my personal lifestyle, I have no further need or desire to use, or use for them. ---End of story.
Incidentally I am not and never have been a member of any smallbore club, (although I may join one someday) and do not, and never have owned a sniper rifle. (again, I have no need of that).

As far as rights to own and use a firearm is concerned, I would defend any rational NZ citizens' right to own and use a firearm for legitimate purposes.

Mid engined under the back seat, low centre of gravity and more glass in the roof and sometimes 4wd....well its close.......They do handle well and if you need a seven seater it will be as close to a sports car as you will be allowed to get....

You Tussock, you couldn't have picked @Woody anymore incorrect. I know woody only through this forum, I've spent more than a few hours travelling with him to shoots I've learnt about through this forum. I'll tell you that if the shit hit the fan over firearm ownership he'd be the most passionate and active person defending our rights. This guy can clean my ears and rearrange my brain and thought patterns in a few hours travel, but be assured that today he is keeping politicians honest and councils on their toes with some good active work against things that regularly get aired on this forum!
