    Weatherby Mark V detachable magazine

I am in the process of purchasing a Weatherby Mark V (Hey Jman if you see this). I am curious if anyone has converted or know anyone who has converted a Mark V from the factory box magazine to a detachable magazine. Saw an outfit in the states was doing them way back but struggle to find anything recently. Cheers

@Jman nope tried twice and won't link so must have his handle wrong. Weatherby May interchange with howa, might give you another option.

Doesn't seem to interchange when the Mk 5 is involved.

    Hi
Use to be able to buy ex weatherby
Now there is a new agent should be able to order one
Can’t imagine it will be a cheap exercise
Have your local shop hit up the leupold agent
They are now the weatherby agent for nz

What caliber and mkv action size are you after parts for
6 lug or 9 lug and magnum or non magnum ect
    There are a few differences

    Thank you

    It’s a 30-06ai 6 lug.

I will be going over to the states to visit family so should be able to bring something back with me if that is an option?

Yup was my rifle and it is a ripper, personally I wouldn't bother with a mag conversion it holds 5 rounds in the floor plate mag which is ample for hunting, adding a drop out mag would ruin the nice clean lines of the rifle and add bulk right where you don't want it when carrying.
I sold it to @Joshy here and he is the one selling it. Super lightweight in a caliber that really punches up there with the magnums.

Sounds good. Unfortunately I have a tendency to mess with things whether or not it needs messing with.

your throwing good money away in this case, spend it on components or better glass, far better value for $ spent....this coming from a self admitted tinkerer
