    2 howas would make me a fanboy

    I'm hoping a vanguard wont have a story on the barrel and I'll save money by not having to flute. (yes thats the sole reason my current howa is fluted)

    Apparently the new howas have a 1:7 twist, good for some heavier pills!

    I may actually go Howa, thought it's time I got a .223 since I said I'd get a .223 3 guns ago

    Go the Howa. You don't have to sit there and read the barrel markings! The new Howa are lighter and have the faster twist rate. Not sure if the Weatherby has been on the same diet. There is nothing wrong with being a fanboy of something that works well.
