    Weatherbys New Model 307

I seen this while surfing the gun side of YouTube, it seems Weatherby is catering to a different demographic than typical with this one. Whats everyones thoughts? do you think it's a step in the right direction for them moving away from their roots?

Exactly what I had though also, I expect they'd price it similarly to the Bergara, if not less to poach their consumers. I like what they're doing, although im not fond of the 700 action, the fact it's been replicated many times by other brands speaks volumes to the design

Im very interested in getting my hands on one for a tutu but after reading the post below this one regarding new Weatherbys typically being unavailable for purchase here in NZ has me thinking I should just forget about it for the mean time

Yeah nah from me, they've taken everything I like about the mk v and binned it. I'm sure it'll be ok but it's not for me.

I would take it that's exactly what they were going for, They want new customers base not to give there current ones a cheaper option
There video talks about chasing the prs type market

Last time I looked there were lots of second hand Mark V for sale on TM.

New generation of hunters are brainwashed by H&F to buy Tikka and not look elsewhere.

I think the 307 would be appealing here if priced well

I don't work for any gun shops and I always recommend a tikka.
When I have bought something else i regret it.
So there's a reason they they recommend Tikkas!
