The theory is good and probably in practice too but an ugly chick is still ugly no matter how awesome her personality is.

Augthere all ugly but serve a purpose i was told by an xpert what the purpose of a bullpup was but it wasnt interesting so I have forgotten ,there is something you get use to with a bullpup(Aug) is the feel and sound of the working parts right by your face, the thing you learnt to listen to the most was the spring in the fireing pin assembly.Funny story.........we were doing a feild ex and just happend to watch as some other grunts drag'd a Tf wounded per out thru a doorway on his back sily bugger's didnt take the rifle off the tf guy so his scope got hooked into the jam of the door so they pulled harder........................ping!!!!!! snaped the rear end clean off the scope! the tf jumped up the grunts went shit!!!! and the WO 1 who happend to also be watching laughed his ass off.

I own two bullpups, a aug and a 10/22 in a redjacket stock.
Both are cool toys but apart from the short length (and I LOVE short guns) that is only of marginal benefit 99.9%of the time in my world I would say the only benefit is that they are much much easier to hold up and towards a target for extended periods of time-handy on the back of a ute bouncing across paddocks etc.
    mag changes suck!
Triggers suck! Even after graphite etc.

Would I buy more bullpups, sure-because of the cool toy factour not because I think they are better tools for what I need.

If I was a soldier fighting from transport in built up areas I would consider them, but as I will never be on that situation they are just toys

This reminds me that I must hide or remove the makers name in my .22 stock due to his sleaze bag ways
