Yuk. That would Piss you off rushy.

If you hand loaded your own you would almost have a condition or obsessive compulsive thing goin on where you have to look at case heads and primers.

At least you would have picked up the problem earlyer.

Yep. As I recall I was the one that couldn't see the point of reloading when the factory rounds were performing so well. Fucking peer pressure is a bitch. I blame the forum Ha ha ha ha

My understanding is that it was all about the primers being dodgy.

I agree. A bit warm maybe? Coupled with loose/dodgy primers. However, to do that much damage to the bolt-face so quick, is a concern. The half moons caused by the chipped ejector by the look?
I hope you get it sorted and get a new bolt at least. Stick with the highest quality brass and primers you can mate.

I don't have the bolt at the moment so am not sure whether the ejector is chipped or melted.

The ejector looked buggered to me and had a heap of brass on it. I hope you sort it soon mate.

I have spoken to the importer about replacement parts but the world has stopped because of Christmas so at this point there is no feedback. I have been on the Brownells website and all of the bits (bolt head, ejector, extractor and springs) seem readily available and cost about $50.00 US total to replace. I am not yet sure whether I need an import order for such a small amount. If I do then god only knows when I might get them. The thing that shits me most is that the primers had a known fault but were still sold.

Live and learn aye. Waiting for my burger. Went up rob Roy glacier today, tried to get over the mountain the other day but turns out that the Mrs has a fair of heights, or more so tumbling to her death so no tahr or chamois yet. Will just do some work on my hut for when we come down.

Fuck that looks like the go. What are the odds of you carrying a King size bed up for me. If it sounds a bit difficult I could always talk to young Phillip.

Haha that's down the bottom mate. Base Camp. About 4-6 hours to get over the top. Unless we take the chopper across the road. It's got fired oven and everything for you to cook up a storm.
