    were you using Winchester primers there were a bad batch of them there is quite a few bolts looking like yours around at the moment

    Yep that is exactly what happened.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded

    Rule 5: Check your firing zone

    a mate of mine has a 300 wsm with a bolt like that he asked gunworks about it they have seen quite a few caused by Winchester primers if it is real bad they tig weld the bolt face then machine it
