Turning the question on it's head for a moment, what would you guys not use?

Not the obvious ones like sand, cowshit, red bull, waikato draught etc, but the ones that are a problem if you don't know what they are, like Sweets 7.62 bore cleaner.

CLP and some automotive bearing grease where the charging handle locks to the receiver.

allot of chain oil has ptfe (teflon) in it, it gets real nasty and fouled up when hot. ok if you are out dear shooting where you may fire 1-2 shot but i wouldnt want to use it for say an ipsc competition with rapid firing.

I like CLP breakfree, the aerosol is good for removing crude from the action/trigger group and leave a nice layer of lubricant behind.

I bought a big can years ago from Serious Shooters, but can't find them anymore other than from Guncity for a ridiculous price.
