    Of importance, imo, is if you get a bipod that can swivel side to side, make sure it can be tightened up real good so it doesent want to roll from side to side easily. I prefer it to be stiff enough to hold the rifle level itself, so you are not trying to keep it level yourself whilst trying to aim etc.
    Yeah I will keep an eye out for a Harris.

    I have that. But my base is welded but the top is bolted which is why it swivels when I shoot.

    I used to use a Gallen shooting stick. Good value, versatile, and did not lock up with mud and rain.

    (But now my Evil Semi is in quarantine... it's idle).
