What length action do you use to build a 6.5 284 on? got a savage 7 08 sitting here doing nothing..

I would use a long action to seat the high bc bullets out

Yip I’d use a long action it’s a pretty long round give me a minute and il take a photo

I've built one on a Savage medium action. 130 gn loads can be made to short action mag length, with 156s single loaded for those long dialing shots.
