SOMETIMES I QUESTION MY SANITY......OCCASIONALLY IT ANSWERS BACK .!
leave it how it is, hang it on the wall and get a new one.
Do her up, could get a new gun cheaper but will be a plastic heap of............
Tidy it back up an you will have a nice wee gun for another 15years not something you will go why did I buy this an go back to the old beast anyway
Screw a new stainless barrel on it, good for another few decades! Keep the stock original, keep the memories intact 😊
got a mate who is on his 5th barrel on his ruger, he loves the gun and thats that.
stick a new pipe on it, then in 3 months replace the stock, so you are used to the barrel, think of it like getting a bypass then having a hip replaced.
it will cost about the same
greg
You will probably Laugh... Its a Ruger M77Mk11
Does anyone know if there is a way of getting a pic of the inside of the barrel??
The rifle still shoots straight . I can put two shots on a thumb nail at 100m while the barrel is cold . but the looking inside the barrel scares me.
It all started from 3 weeks in Fiordland without a cleaning kit. and then leaving it with a mate while I spent 4 years overseas...
Think I might keep the stock. its fine apart from it looks like its floated down a river for a week.
I still cant seem to put pics up. Will keep trying

Nah they're cool. If it shoots well don't worry about it!!!
It's like putting a borescope down your rifle, never ever do it unless there's a problem, you'll just upset yourself.
Just upload pics to imgur
