I'm a bit of a 22 slut I've got a early Anshutz 1416 in mint cond excellent shooter has that centerfire feel to it , early model 1960's T-BOLT this rifle is my favorite smooth glass like action and a bloody tack driver- light too definitely better than a 2015 tikka Finnfire 22
and a Norinco EM- 322 this has been bedded and would give any dedicated target rifle a run for its money.
Personally out of the 22's available atm I'd get a new Anshutz or keep an eye out for a 2ND hand kimber or old Belgium made T - Bolt .
OR THIS these are quite rare in this condition

That Anschutz will certainly shoot (simply because it's an Anschutz) but those ugly rotating safeties do them no justice.

My rimfire safe queen, though it does get shot a bit at times. A Model 1 Brno.

That's a lovely Brno there ,yes that Anschutz would definitely shoot well , it has the match 54 action and trigger I would say it's of 1950's manufacture.

    What's a nice 22

    Mmmmm, love me some Brnos!

My 1948 Brno model 1 de luxe that my grandfather bought brand new and my CZ 452 that shoots 1 hole 10 shot groups at 50m with CCI standard target ammo.

Just keep a look out for a second hand Annie the 54 actioned one , or a old Sako P94S Finnfire , or if they are too dear just get a CZ , and not the 455 swap barrel model .
You can tell the 54s , as they have a different bolt , if in doubt , just google the Annie number .

I've got a CZ452 American in 22magnum for sale. I'm based in Palmy too. Look it up on TM under expired listings - #946877838. I'm out of town tomorrow morning for the next 2 weeks so haven't relisted it. Flick me a PM if interested.

It's one action length for all calibers so a .22 455 is longer than it needs to be. And some people don't like sloted in barrels

CZ/Brno is the bees knees, for the price they are pretty accurate and a nice looking well built rifle. I love mt American 452, well both of them. CZ 452s have a cult follow in the States.
