Out of curiosity, why are you so set on having a suppressor? All of the traditional lever chamberings have a lot less report/muzzle blast. While I still use hearing protection when using a 30-30 at the range, you can fire one while out hunting quite comfortably without your ears ringing, unlike a 243, 308 etc. The pistol chamberings like 44-40 are even kinder on the ears. All of these have minimal felt recoil too, so unless you're planning on poaching, the can isn't necessary.
    More meplat, more better.

Yeah, nah, my trapper 30-30 is real loud, more shotgun boom than rifle crack. Recoil is more of a push than a sharp kick though.

I have tinnitus already. I don't want to make it worse. Its just how I feel about rifle noise report. I just prefer to have it suppressed.

yeah I saw that finnwolf for sale too, nice. A friend had one in .243, I nearly bought one once but it wouldn't cycle.
I've had the trapper and a 99 in 243. Both of them had triggers like a bloody gate latch but apart from that they were faultless.

For the record. I am very young too. A few concerts when I was in intermediate. A long motorbike ride and that was all it took.

Best ever lever action...the Browning BLR in .243 or .308 depending on what you hunt. They are light, easy to carry, and very accurate out to 200m.

    Why?

Reading the amendment bill, if a lever-action tube holds more than 10 rounds will it become a prohibited magazine, 10 or less is fine...for now...
Im guessing some of the pistol chamberings hold more than 10???

    Meaning of prohibited magazine

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, prohibited magazine,—
    (a) in relation to a shotgun, means a magazine, whether or not detachable,
that is capable of holding more than 5 cartridges commensurate with that
    shotgun’s chamber size:
    (b) in relation to any other firearm (except a pistol),—
    (i) means any detachable magazine—
    (A) that is capable of holding 0.22 calibre or less rimfire cart-
ridges and that is capable of holding more than 10 of those
    cartridges:
    (B) that is capable of holding more than 10 cartridges and being
used with a semi-automatic or fully automatic firearm:
(ii) means any other magazine, whether or not detachable, that is cap-
able of holding more than 10 cartridges
    ; and
    (c) includes any other magazine declared by Order in Council made under
section 74A to be a prohibited magazine for the purposes of this Act.

In relation to a semi auto. I guess we’ll have to see what’s gonna happen in the real world. Otherwise we going around in circles snapping at each other.
