Be interested to see what you think in a few years....
You'll find the Vx6 sits more alongside the Z5 for glass so better than the 3 but not buy much.
Other than that the swarovski eye box causes new hunters issues where the Vx6 does not.
We often forget when comparing scopes one has brand new glass...the others in the safe don't.
But the little Z3 is a great little scope enjoy.

Good to hear your points Brads, maybe the brand new vx6 2-12 I had was a bit of a dud? My HD5 was definitely ahead in colour,, resolution was a tie, The eye box on the HD5 was the same until higher powers after which the VX6 lagged behind and got real tight.

Should be able to get to the range tomorrow to have a further fiddle.

Yes I hate leupold scopes and I've had a few, none have ever compared to HD5, or Swarovski , Leica obviously and others. That was until I looked at the OLD VX6 2-12.
