Why does he want to replace the howa? It's not really clear what issue you're looking to solve.

Howa's generally shoot well. You can do a lot for scope / other accessories to upgrade it for 2k.

If you think your mate might be interested in an 85 Sako Finn light in 6.5x55.
Professionally bedded by Bryn Blythen of Targex bullets.
    Muzzle threaded at 14/1.
Drilled and tapped for a rail
    Within his Budget.
    Pm me.

    I thought that as well
I bought one in wood, thought it was better than the Tikka, in fact i was assured of that.
Looked good to me being a wood guy
Fired no rds at all, wouldn't feed, sent it back, they couldn't fix it had my money back, no response on why it would not feed and what they are doing about it
Not going to mention the importers name on here, sure you can figure it out

Seems all wood 100's have disappeared.

It isn't a dream its happening
Except for some reason Beretta NZ doesn't think the 6.5's sell that well here

    Why would that be

Ryan I reckon. Maybe Brads, both have yet to stumble over a good caliber

I might happen to have a secret 6.5x55 that nobody knows about...

Think I'm out of this decision as I only drink BLACK TEA THREE SUGARS.
Reloading books try Nathan Fosters reloading
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
