Thread: Who's seen a rimfire do this before

    I've got an old ( 1913 ?) Winchester pump action 22 that does that, but usually after 25m. Has no rifling at all so bullets tumble like a bastard.

    if its that bad.....getting someone to counterbore the muzzle MIGHT work,certainly got stuff all to loose..basically what you doing is moving muzzle back by an inch cleaning up the egdes of it and hiding it internally.....

    Shame the rifle has been returned etc, was looking forward to finding out what the problem is.

    I stand by my $50 offer. will take it from the new guy too.

    My knackered 22 was my granddads and looking down the bore there is basically no rifling left. I do like the exposed hammer though. Never thought you could rebore etc... Could be worth it.
