    That muzzle blast is going to be impressive especially in low light conditions!

    At least with the red dot… you won’t need to worry about getting ‘scoped’.

    Mate, I reckon I would need to double the size of my ball-bag to even think about shooting that. The boys at the big bore would salivate over it as well. You should try to get there, everyone worth their salt drinks Waikato. The others that don’t are ....... well ....... girly men.

    The kinetic energy of that beast must be horrendous on anything that actually got hit by it. What happens to a deer tif you decide to try it? Is the meat ruined, or do the shockwaves going through the carcase act as a pre-tenderiser?

    The damage to deer I shot with my 50 was considerabley less that than the likes of rem mags 338 edge etc with hunting projectiles.
    I never used the 750gr amax so can't comment on them.

    I wonder how much potential kinetic energy is lost cutting the barrel that short.
    Of course conservation of energy kicks in and what doesn't go into bullet velocity turns into muzzle flash and loudness, much loudness. At night it would be outstanding I expect.
