    Pretty well much all civilian scopes are made in Japan and have been for a long time.
    The difference is the final assembly with the stringent nf criteria and quality control.
    All military scopes are made in the usa as it has something to do with sourcing usa made military equipment.
    There is a reason s & b are not first choice for high end military use..
    Great glass but after using a s&b compact very unimpressed with the clicks and I just about needed grips to adjust the parallax.
    Not good on a 7k scope.
