I think it was the vapour trail that interested Craig the most with that shot. I know he wasn't overly wrapped by the low-ish shot and investigated when he got home. He found that he had not properly calibrated those coloured disks on the Swaro after he had taken the turret to bits.
He has good reason to talk the Hammers up based on his previous experience with them.

In any event, bang-flops are really the exception, not the rule, and mostly the result of high shoulder shots (in my experience). No matter what you hit them with.

Its likely me that will get torn the new AH now - from him for interfering.
Targex 95gr out the humble 243 and you get spectacular vapour trails especially over a gully or gorge.Incredible to watch.

My 'Take' on this is : With 6.5 projo's (some being better than others ) you don't necessarily need heavy-projectiles . The lighter-stuff hits way-beyond its size due to the high BC and SD of the 6.5 . The lighter -110-125 projo's can be pushed a lot-faster and all the-energy stays in the-animal depending on the projectile-construction and shot-placement . Many discovered long-ago that 120's in 6.5x55( Sweed'more') , simply 'Flatten' deer out to sensible-distances and their penetration because of that BC/SD is exceptional . A 110-120-gr 6.5 equates to a much-larger/heavier calibre-projectile when you look at the respective BC/SD's . Philipo , your humour has been missed , drink two-shots before your next Post......

90% of ducks I shoot go 20 yards from impact and are dead on arrival...maybe Im a shit shot too??? look forward to hearing how Philipo manages to make them stop on the spot.
20 or even 50 yards dead run isnt a shit shot...it is what it is,at least the man recovered some meat from animal..so still hunting for pot not just shooting to waste...and if shooting to waste, where it hits doesnt matter a shit really does it??? as long as death is quick.

nah..Paul is correct, watch it slow mo back n forward like the cricket umpires do and it hits right about where the bottom point of rear of his arrow is showing,at top of the grey line of rear of leg if you will...its a good shot and a farkin site further than I would shoot.
