Cool tale bro i must admit i am not far behind you in the way i hunt in The last year or 2 but my moto is a day in the bush is better than The best day at work(unless your boss gives you a $100000 doller pay rise)if only
Excellent, well done
When hunting think safety first
Bloody good yarn mate! Bone and skin certainly adds up on the carry out doesn't it.
"O Great Guru what projectile should I use in my .308?" To which the guru replied, "It doesn't matter."

and a WHITE dog bouncing around wont be helping your cause either...try a light coat for her, hopefully it might flick a switch to calm down...for some reason it does wit hMeg when we put her pack on.
you might try keeping dog at heel/in behind when she gets too bouncy.Meg hates it and calms right down so can be out in front again...
being in rotund shape myself (read fat hua) going slowly in the bush is much easier than when I was super fit...OK alright,I stop for look around breather more often..and it seems to up my sucess rate.
enjoy your venison.

Great read, post again by all means when you get another one.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Loved the story, at least you are honest in your approach to the hunt. Should have a good few feeds of that animal. Boning your animal out will certainly ease the weight on your shoulders and knees on the way out next time.
I enjoyed reading that yarn, well done!
Thanks for the tale. I have seen the F--k you look from a dog once twice too but they usually redeem themselves a little later.
If you have a garden and a library, you have all you need. Oh, and a dog, and a rifle
That's a great trip report! Well done.
Every machine is a smoke machine,
If you use it wrong enough.
Great story, and I enjoyed the writing style. We all hunt for different (but often aligned) reasons, and you match a lot of people in the joy of being there - but bringing meat as well as memories home is grrrreat
I don't know if you noticed, but your hat seems to be on backwards.
Great to get success with your best mate along for the ride
