They put a fake skull in the rug. Although i am calling it a rug in actual fact i will get it put on the wall when it gets here. I am getting the actual skull boiled and bleached and it will be sent home with the skin.

Awesome trip!!! The frigid scenery doesn't exactly make me long for home but I'm pretty keen to head to Labrador when I get back for a Caribou hunt.

    Right here are a few.
The "Mighty Mou" at Pearl Habour was awesome!

Jet boat from Talkeetna was fun.

Anchorage Zoo was cool. I think this ones name was "Jake"

We were fansinated by the wolfs

Swans at Anchorage. Some of the tourists on our bus were worried that the "little swans" weren't big enough for the flight south. They were informed the "little swans" they were pointing at were in fact ducks...

The wildlife conservation center was great even though it rained the whole time!
    Elk

    Eagle

We did a glacier cruise in Prince William Sound. Some pretty neat scenery.

We took the train north to Talkeetna again.

Where we found some fantastic weather.

Alaska is a beautiful place. I must have built in bear repellent though, I have been to so many places in North America (not hunting) where I have been warned about bears having been in the camping area in the last 24 hours and I have never laid eyes on one yet. Mind you there is a wee part of me that is happy with that.

Awesome trip report, your photos are stunning.
I spent Christmas in Alaska a couple of years ago and it is still one of my favourite places out of everywhere I've been.
I would love to return one day when it is colourful (as opposed to frozen solid) and go for a hunt.
