    :-) I've always elected not to shoot the hinds as I didn't like the meat that much, I guess it would make good mince, sausages etc. How did you prepare yours?

    Mostly mince and sausage, steak was very grainy, tasted fine but yeah a bit chewy, kind of like horse meat.

    Never seen one but have seen a photo of dads best mate still alive next to one.
    It literally looked the size of a horse and two of them had a hell of a job just to turn it over to take off the other side quarters.

    I am much the same oneshot,like to have the freezer looking healthy.
